"My first class felt like the longest 90 minutes of my life, although I was amazed when I was able to get into some postures that I had never been able to before." What made you come back? "A sincere hope that the instructors were telling the truth about the second class being better than the first, coupled with a strong desire to get into shape. Since the second class was much better, I stuck with it and now can't imagine it not being a part of my life. When I first started my practice I was overweight and out of shape, but have since returned to the size I was in my early twenties and am in the best shape of my life. In addition, I am a much more patient person these days. Advice to new students: "Come to class as often as you can during your first month and be patient with yourself. Acclimating to this yoga can take awhile, but it is so worth it. Give it a chance and it really can change your life."

Meet Cambia, our February Student of the Month!

"My first visit was totally not what I expected. I thought that I was too overweight and out of shape for yoga. Boy, was I wrong! During my first class, once I stopped thinking about how hot it was, I was fine! To my surprise the instructor and the class congratulated me and other first timers for completing the class. This was very encouraging for me! I knew immediately that I wanted to come back. The feeling I had was indescribable. I felt light, free and completely rejuvenated! Starting this practice opened a reconnection with myself and just a overall sense of total awareness. I just recently completed my first 30 day challenge. It was difficult, but the staff and classmates were very supportive and like my own personal cheerleaders! I also lost 9 pounds within the 30 days.
